Return to CONFIDENCE.

For those seeking new opportunities or returning after a long break - it's a nerve-wracking process!

Wondering how to give a good account of yourself, how to switch on your 'professional' character, how to fit in and get into the swing of things. These are all fighting for your attention, increasing the stress, and frankly, who needs that?

Luckily, there are some very simple steps you can take, to reframe the experience. Think about everything you are doing, in terms of these elements - Breathing, Awareness, Content, Presence and Delivery. You won't need to study any complex techniques - they are exactly as you would imagine! So firstly, reclaim that space before you begin speaking, to breathe. It will help to clear your mind, and give you time to organise those thoughts before you speak. Then, as you get into it, continuing to breathe will help you maintain your tone, whilst slowing your tempo - which will increase your authority.

And here's the thing, If you start off there first, the other elements then come into play. The Awareness is for tuning into your audience, the Content is what you say, the presence is how you say it, and Delivery is simply making everything LAND.

Through applying this approach, you will start to create successful outcomes - and your confidence will soar.
